Rebate token

Overview

The rebate token is Toro's pool-revenue token. It has no initial supply, is minted only against realised trading losses, and earns USDC when staked.

What it is

An ERC-20 with 18 decimals. Only the pool can mint it. Transfers are off at launch; minting, staking, unstaking and claiming work.

How supply grows

Zero at deploy, with no pre-mint or allocation. Each loss that grows the pool mints to the trader who lost: 100 per $1 below $2M, then fewer (Mint curve).

What stakers earn

50% of every win, loss and liquidation fee the pool pays out.
Everything above the $5M staker cap, once the queue is empty.
