Toro Trade

Introduction

FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask first. Each one links to the page with the full mechanics.

Is it really onchain?

Yes. Positions, balances, the pool and the queue are contract storage on HyperEVM, and every trade settles in a transaction you can inspect. The relayer only submits what you signed; it cannot change it.

Where does the price come from?

From Hyperliquid’s live book, read inside the transaction through the BBO precompile. Toro uses the midpoint of the best bid and ask. See Pricing.

Which markets, and how much leverage?

BTC, ETH, SOL, DOGE, WLD, ZRO, LIT, GOLD. Maximum leverage per market is listed in Market parameters; the highest is 1,000×. Any Hyperliquid market whose book HyperEVM can read can be added by configuration (Many markets).

What does a trade cost?

No opening fee, spread or funding. On a winning close: a small deadband (2.35 bp of the entry on BTC), the impact haircut, then a 2% win fee. On a losing close you pay the loss and nothing else.

Can I add margin or close part of a position?

No. Each position is isolated and fixed at open. To change size, close it and open another.

What happens at liquidation?

When the mid reaches your bust price a keeper closes the position and the whole margin goes to the pool. You still receive rebate tokens for that loss. See Liquidations.

What if the pool cannot pay me?

Your margin comes back straight away. The profit joins the payout queue and is paid, oldest first, from later losses. See The pool and the payout queue.

Can I deposit into the pool?

No. The pool has no deposit function. The way to share in its revenue is to hold and stake rebate tokens, which are only minted against trading losses.

Can anyone stop my withdrawal?

No. Withdrawing your free balance has no pause switch and no admin check, and a test enforces that. Funds always go to your own address, even when the withdrawal arrives as a signed intent.

Can I build my own frontend or bot?

Yes. Intents are standard EIP-712 messages; the Gasless intents page has the domain and types, and @toro/sdk builds and signs them.

Values on this page are read from the HyperEVM testnet deployment (chain 998, block 67249403) at build time.
